Export Hub Bulgaria is an initiative started by 12 private and public organizations and steered by the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA) to help local enterprises scale their businesses to new markets.
The pilot edition of EXPO1 will be conducted over 12 weeks, with 15 Bulgarian companies planning their international expansion. The program will include lectures and mentorship sessions with some of the most renowned Bulgarian managers and representatives of the academic community with vast international business development experience.
Some of the key topics that will be covered are product and packaging, digital marketing, regulations and market structures, intellectual property, transport and logistics, finance, international trade, and others. EXPO 1 will also offer practical workshops, during which the companies will work on real case scenarios related to market expansion strategies and techniques that will help them improve their business processes.

In addition to the educational sessions, participants will be provided with the opportunity to take part in international events, meet the commercial attaches of their targeted countries, and develop relationships to help them expand their business operations.
