Software Group’s client CreditAccess Grameen Wins Stevie® Innovation Award in APAC

CreditAccess Grameen, the largest microfinance institution in India and a long-standing client of Software Group, was named winner of a Silver Stevie Award in the seventh annual Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards. The organization was recognized in the category “Excellence in Innovation in Financial Industries – more than 100 employees” due to its outstanding achievements in the financial industry across different areas.

Among the distinguished initiatives was the project with Software Group for implementing a cutting-edge Digital Field Application (DFA) Solution. The technology helped CreditAccess Grameen enable quick access to credit, creating a positive long-lasting impact on people’s lives. Currently, over 600+ branches with 3100 concurrent users work with the help of the solution to perform instant credit checks. Over 60% of the loans offered by CreditAccess Grameen are disbursed on the same day.

The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards are the only business awards program to recognize innovation in the workplace in all 29 nations of the Asia-Pacific region. The Stevie Awards are widely considered to be the world's premier business awards, conferring recognition for achievement in programs such as The International Business Awards® for 18 years.

More than 1,000 nominations from organizations across the Asia-Pacific region competed at this year’s Stevie Awards. Gold, Siver, and Bronze Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 100 executives around the world acting as judges in May and June.
