Software Group Hosts First CreditQuest Community Day

9 Feb, 2022

Software Group successfully hosted its first CreditQuest Community Day – an exclusive virtual event aiming to discuss the latest release (version 22) of CreditQuest, the company’s signature loan origination solution, and facilitate the development of a community that will drive the future of an industry-leading loan origination system. Among the attendees were bank representatives from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and others.

Software Group’s CEO, Kalin Radev, and CEO Africa and the Middle East, Connor Hanan began the session with a brief introduction of Software Group’s business’ mission for financial inclusion, and the digitalization solutions it provides financial institutions across the globe, with a focus on the company’s operations in Africa and the Middle East.

The event was also joined by SG NewTech’s CEO, Tunde Oladele who led a discussion on the future of credit risk management, identified common challenges encountered, and why CreditQuest is the solution that has been trusted by leading organizations across the globe. Guests were encouraged to consider how they can leverage technology to respond quickly and efficiently to volatile market conditions, changing customer expectations, as well as non-financial risks. By exploring the benefits of big data, and embracing advanced analytics and machine learning, they will be able to stay ahead of their competitors and protect the most lucrative parts of their business – origination, sales, and distribution. Automating the credit risk management cycle is the future because it enables financial institutions to streamline, standardize, and automate their processes and workflow.

CreditQuest Product Manager, Juliet Abungana then shared exciting updates about the newest functionalities of CreditQuest version 22, including compatibility with more browsers, a fully web-based system for security and portfolio managers, enhanced mobility experience and much more.

CreditQuest Community Day is just the first of a series that aims to become a global platform for the credit risk management community.
